The OSS HABITAT project creates long-term partnerships between different entities, develops innovative solutions, encourages higher energy efficiency and renovates the housing stock. The goal is to establish a one-stop service system and renovate more than 200 housing units in Macedonian municipalities, achieving energy savings of around 40% and reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 3,584 tons per year.
The main group of users are owners of apartments in apartment buildings and individual houses, with a focus on tenants who want to improve the energy efficiency of their homes or
obtain more information about energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
Target stakeholders directly involved in the implementation of the project and the delivery of
integrated home renovation services include national authorities, financial institutions,
companies, and technical professionals, as well as experts, municipalities, building managers, building management companies, and other relevant civil society organizations.
The project is co-financed by the EU through the LIFE Programme.
